Currently I can only add horizontal panel -- all lands at the top of the screen.

so you move it to vertical.

How?

I don't see this in settings, I cannot grab it, I cannot add it initially as vertical.

by clicking and dragging anywhere in the blank area of the panel.

and before you run off to file a bug report about how that isn't intuitive enough,  that (and resizing) have already been identified as issues.

It would be 100% intuitive, but the problem is it simply does not work. What's more -- there is even no dragging icon when I start to "drag" the panel.
