Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-12 19:22:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.82)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I run kde4daily, wait till login screen appears, I type password
kde4daily
fine, kde starts, I lock the session, then I would like to unlock it. I type password
kde4daily
and... password is incorrect (according to KDE).

In KDE 4.0.4 (but using opensuse and autologin feature) unlock works.

I've looked into this briefly, and am happy to consider it a KDE4Daily-specific bug. I'll see if I can roll out a fix in a future update.

iirc the screensaver needs to be suid.

KDE4Daily specific (i.e. - my fault, not Plasma's ;))
