Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-12 18:10:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.82)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

...so user could use the same image in both cases.

Btw. I really like this sad gray splashscreen background -- it is simply amazing.

Do you mean the black one with gray curls?
Comment 2 FiNeX 2008-06-25 13:15:28 UTC
It has been added the colours version (blue).

Wallpapers are fetched from /share/wallpapers global and local folders.
The same that this "Curl gray" but in blue is now available as default wallpaper in KDE 4.1 (blue is the traditional KDE color, like it or not)
If you want this "Curl gray" as wallpaper just set it by yourself. Standard wallpapers are only a small numbers. Please subscribe to kde-artists at kde dot org if you do not agree with the current selection.

Anne, selection is great! :-)

Finex, yes this one is so great.

Now, I am thinking, if one option
[ ] use it as wallpaper
in splashscreen section, or rather
[ ] use splashscreen
in wallpapers would be a better solution...

The point is user sets this option _once_ and no matter what splashscreen he chooses it is automatically used as wallpaper. In current implementation she/he has to do doubled work.
