Description Giovanni 2008-06-12 18:09:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

When a removable media has a blank space in it's name (such as "PKBACK #001") neither the "Removable media" applet panel or the automount daemon window can open it.

In the example name above when I try to call "Open in a new window" from the panel's applet kde says:

"ERROR: file or folder /media/PKBACK doesn't exist"

so I think the problem is in the black space...
Same answer I have with the "Open in a new window" item of menu of KDE's automount daemon.
I use italian language of KDE so I hope my translations it->en are right!!!
Hoping it's useful. Bye

I tested this bug with kde svn trunk r821463 and couldn't reproduce it with dolphin/device manager applet, so I'm closing it as it.

When you upgrade to KDE 4.1, this bug will be gone.
