It is not possible to turn of the KOrganizer reminder daemon on Login. Whyever, the System-Tray icon always appears on startup, even though I uncheck the option in the System-Tray-Menu.

Do you start Kontact or Korganizer on startup?
If so, then the reminder daemon will also start.

No, I don't start any of these programms.

This should be fixed in trunk now, for the next 4.1 release.
