Description Jesper Andersen 2008-06-12 07:46:42 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 4.2.4
OS: Linux

I compiled KDE4 (kdebase-startkde) from a gentoo overlay (kdesvn-portage) and upon startup I get a crash from plasma. Krunner starts and there are no problems with the rest of KDE.

Output from starting plasma from the commandline:

plasma(15674)/libplasma Plasma::Applet::load: offers is empty for "folderview"

i fixed that one just tonight actually. =)
Comment 3 Jesper Andersen 2008-06-12 11:43:13 UTC
After updating plasma, it now starts fine... There still is the line

plasma(15674)/libplasma Plasma::Applet::load: offers is empty for "folderview"

I will look into what there package I have to recompile to (in gentoo I have plasma and libplasma) update the folderview plasmoid(?). Eventually I will probably also have to find out how to make full backtraces.

Thanks, anyways.
