Description Max Cantor 2008-06-12 03:28:11 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

I plugged in an HP Deskjet D4160 via USB 2 to my HP Compaq Presario v2565us laptop. It was instantly configured and ready to print. I went to File -> Print in Firefox 3 RC2 on a website. It was sent to the printer and began printing...

very...

very...

slowly.

The printer headers make one pass every 15 to 20 seconds or so. The printer light is blinking. In View Printer Status, there is a message reading, "Printer 'Deskjet_D4100_series' may not be connected." Document print status says that the job was submitted "about a minute ago" even 10 minutes after it was submitted. The document status is "processing".

It appears to be printing out correctly, but it's unbelievably slow. It seems like the one page will take a total of about 30 minutes to be printed.
