Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-09 16:19:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Current behaviour is to show partially the tab that didn't fit. But there is a problem, if there is little space, user can have difficulties to see there is something more.

Please provide "..." as a clear indicator there are more tabs to see. Do not show partially tabs. Then user would see:
... -> there is something more
no ... --> end of tabs for sure

No guessing.

As far as I know, this "tab tear" indicator rendering has been improved for KDE SC 4.4. Could you please check if it fixes the problems you were seeing, and if not, mention the remaining issues?

Current oxygen when overflowed has
- faded tab on the left to indicate that there is more
- left/right arrows on the right, to indicate that one can scroll the bar to get to the invisible tabs.
As far as I know this covers what's asked in this wish.
