Version: невідома (using 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-18-generic Having upgraded from 3.5.8, I was glad to see the contents of my ~/Desktop still shown on the desktop, even though the content of each file was NOT shown (quite a silly thing to have done, BTW, but, I hear, this is fixed with the upcoming FolderView or something). However, when I logged out and logged in again, the number of icons on the desktop doubled -- the contents of ~/Desktop was now show twice... Each subsequent login added the same icons anew... I had to manually edit ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-appletsrc to get rid of them all and then rename ~/Desktop to ~/Desktop-o Please, advise.
fixed in 4.1. and no, we don't really need the editorializing. that's a privilege you earn by contributing. ;)
> and no, we don't really need the editorializing. Why should KDE-4.x be treated any different from Windows Vista?
