Description erik_hahn 2008-06-08 13:29:04 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 4.2.3
OS: Linux

The analog clock is upside down. If you rotate it by 180°, it shows the correct time.

The left clock is in default orientation, the right one is rotated by 180°.

what kdebase revision is it please? trunk?
When you choose to display the time on it, is it the right time displayed for the left one?
Comment 3 erik_hahn 2008-06-08 17:35:26 UTC
kdebase revision 818297 from trunk. Displaying the time as text works correctly.
Comment 4 Anne-Marie Mahfouf 2008-06-08 19:01:44 UTC
I updated my kdebase and removed plasma-appletrc config file and I can't reproduce.
Did you build KDE previously? If so, did it work correctly?
Can you try with a new user?

Oddly, it seems to work always as long as I don't use the "Silicon" theme. I could not even imagine a theme could cause that.
Comment 6 Marco Martin 2008-06-08 20:48:18 UTC
yeah, it turns out it's the silicon theme,
the theme format for the analog clock is changed a bit lately (and was really due because the placement of the hads was everything but intuitive), and some themes broke, i contacted the authors of all the themes that broke, they should be fixed again in a bit...
