Description Pavel Gurevich 2008-06-08 00:57:19 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I have a dual monitor setup in my notebook.

However, if I log in when only internal monitor is on, and then add the second one using xrandr, at logout time not all the desktop is grayed, but only the size of the first monitor.

is composite on or off?
the way of fading out the screen is pretty different in the two cases
Comment 2 Pavel Gurevich 2008-06-10 07:18:04 UTC
I've checked Xorg log file:

(**) Extension "Composite" is enabled

I'll try playing with the disabled one when I have time soon.
