Description Rajat 2008-06-07 14:52:31 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

If you leave the mouse pointer on the minimized window on the panel or a shortcul on the panel, CPU utilization for Xorg and Plasma processes goes very high. It happens when a yellow ballon (information about the application window) comes up.
And remains high until you remove the pointer from that.

Dupe of http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161518?
Comment 2 Rajat 2008-06-07 15:02:30 UTC
There should not be any significant change in the CPU utilization, if mouse pointer is there on the minimized window or shortcut on the panel.
The bug can be seen on KDE 4.0.80 (KDE 4.1 Beta 1) too.

Tooltips are disabled for now. Revisit when they make a return.
