Description Thomas K 2008-06-05 23:39:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When I undock a panel in Dolphin, it at first works as expected--I can turn the panel on and off by the normal methods, and it appears and disappears. However, after closing Dolphin and opening it again, the undocked panel does not appear (although it does show up in the taskbar as per bug 155533).

Deleting .kde4/share/config/dolphinrc while Dolphin is closed restores the panels to their docked positions, and to normal operation.

This occurs with at least places and terminal.

[Kubuntu-KDE4 Hardy, x86, ATI graphics with proprietary drivers]

This has been fixed for KDE 4.1 (was a Qt-issue) :-)
