Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Compiler: icecc 0.8.0 with gcc 4.2.3 backend I use icecc to do distributed compiling but the actual compiling is done by gcc OS: Linux Konqueror will change the size of the window to be larger than the width of my screen. I first noticed this when visiting spiegel.de (for example, visiting this page <http://www.spiegel.de/wissenschaft/natur/0,1518,557872,00.html> causes this to happen*) and when I use Alt+mouse to move the window over so I can see the edge, I can't resize it to be smaller; the overly large size seems to be set as the minimum. When I opened the page in Firefox 3b5, the resizing did not occur to Firefox. Note: on further testing when I opened that link directly, the resizing did not occur, but when I went from there to the homepage and then back to that page from a link on the homepage it expanded the window again.
I can confirm this... go back and forth a few times... Is it javascript screen resizing? I currently allow it. Do you? What is that odd toolbar at the bottom supposed to do?
If I disable Javascript resizing, thereś no problem, but I wonder why a) the issue is not present with Firefox b) why when I go to a different website eg google.ca it stays too big. I assume that by the odd toolbar you mean the thing with a bunch of image resizer things or whatever? I have no idea about that either.
Ah, here's what's going on... They are zooming widgets (even though they don't work there), and I guess they're getting added by the gwenview kpart. You can look at the bug report I'm about to "dup" this as, there's a testcase there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 161443 ***
