Description Linus Lewandowski 2008-06-05 00:16:21 UTC
Version: KDE 4.0.80 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

When I'm trying to move plasmoids, their background changes to white and grey squares, and after move they return to the old position.

Changing the plasmoid's size is possible.

(Maybe it will help:)
OpenGL tester plasmoid tells me, that I don'
t have OpenGL support.

I had this problem some time ago when moving the applet to the edge of the screen but I don't have it anymore (svn trunk).

yes, this was a temporary problem in trunk, since solved

I have this problem, too. But only after a fresh restart of KDE. If I kill plasma and fire it up again this issue is gone. I am using the latest Ubuntu packages. It's like bug #166899, when I want to move the plasmaoids it seems as if I want to drag the plasmaoids somewhere instead of moving. I also noticed that this does not happen with all plasmaoids, the analog clock for example works like expected.

Okay, it seems as if killing plasma does not work all the time. I just did it again and now every plasmaoid isn't movable any more. I am using libplasma2 4:4.1.0-0ubuntu1~hardy1~ppa3
