Description Helder Ribeiro 2008-05-27 04:06:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Sometimes batch uploads take a very long time (especially now that Flickr supports video), so it'd be good if the upload could be done in the background (maybe like the background tasks in Amarok), leaving Digikam still usable.

As for the synchronization problem (users changing photos that are in the send queue), a Copy-On-Write (COW) strategy could be used, making the Uploader send the original photo at the time when it was added to the queue.

Thanks for the great work, by the way :)

Helder,

This is implemented in current svn code. Please checkout and try again.

Note : the plugins dialog is now improved. there is a list of image to upload. you can use drag & drop between plugin and digiKam to set image list to upload.
