Description resu_lts 2008-05-24 14:54:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Widgets (plasmoids) placed on KDE 4 Panel disappear after reboot.
Kubuntu 8.04, KDE 4

For instance, if I remove Device Notifier it reappears after reboot. Also if I put widgets (plasmoids) on taskbar, they disappear after reboot, even if I save the session manually via terminal.

The new widgets are not added into ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-appletsrc.

Hey Team Plasma (tm),

I still seem to be getting this bug on two separate machines, both running KDE 4.1 beta 2 from Liquidat's Kubuntu PPA repositories.

Specifically, plasma sometimes crashes on logout, and most (but not all) widgets seem to revert to the state they were in when I logged in.

Let me know if there's any info I can provide to help and thanks for keeping innovation alive on my desktop!

Cheers
