Description Ladislav Nesnera 2008-05-21 20:00:20 UTC
Version: 1.2.9 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I'm unable to find some tool with ability to import all PIM information from *.pst file (Outlook 2003, 2007). There are some tools but they work partially, tricky or enforce installation other SW like Thunderbird. Result is always lame :?(
This situation significantly reduce willingness to migrate from MS platform I'm afraid.

Similar to bug #56670 (which is referred only to kmail)
Comment 2 Ladislav Nesnera 2008-05-27 12:24:53 UTC
It seems be similar but I'm not sure whether the LibPST is able to convert all items (contact, to-do, note etc.) It would be fine prepare simple GUI for desktop users like import contacts from Microsoft PAB ;?)
I prefer do it all in one step than import items particularly by Kontact's components (Kmail, Contacts, Calendar etc.)

libpst project is alive:

latest release is 0.6.46, tagged 3 weeks ago:

Maybe it could be used to provide this feature ?
