Description Evelyn Herzig 2008-05-21 16:44:39 UTC
Version: 0.50.1 (using 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-16-generic

I created an account accidentally and wanted to delete it. Whenever I marked this account in the list and then chose REMOVE the question popped up if really wanted to and when I clicked OK my whole system stalled and I had to restart. When opening KOPETE again I realized that the account was not removed but still in the list. As the account is based on an error concerning the name used for it, this is rather annoying because the log-in procedure becomes kind of awkward as the "wrong" account always appears first and not the one I need to go online with.

Which type of account is it? Jabber for example will ask a second question (whether the account should be removed from the jabber server) which pops up in the background. If you don't spot that window (it might be hidden behind the config window), it appears as if Kopete hangs.

Closing, the second question was hidden in the background (confirmed by Evelyn via mail). Still an annoyance, but not too easy to fix.
