Description Hanno 2008-05-18 14:11:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

During input of text in forms several errors occur:
last character that is put into a webform is hidden by a "white box". Sometimes text input is not shown, before or after a line break. Parts of text disappear due to rendering problems. Text is never actually lost in the form, it is just not shown. Forms sometimes misrender with missing chuncks in the middle.

Simple testcase:

1. got to: http://dict.leo.org/
2. put a word into the search bar

Result:
1 last character is hidden by a white box that appears at the input marker if one stops typing
2 this rendering error is resolved by clicking somewhere else on the page which ends the input mode
