Description Michal Klich 2008-05-17 16:27:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

After i suspend my laptop to Ram. It boots up fine except screen. It looks like turned off but i can barely see window shapes. I could switch windows, i have not noticed mouse arrow as it is so dark. After ctrl + alt + backspace login came up fine.

Hardware:
Compaq 6720s.
My graphic card x3100 intel, using intel driver that came with Fedora.
Suspend to disk works beautiful.

How to reproduce:
Suspend to ram and voila.

This looks like a problem with X. Can you try without KDE being involved (e.g. in GNOME)?
Comment 2 Michal Klich 2008-05-31 22:25:14 UTC
I have tried like you suggested, it must be X problem as same thing have happened in Gnome. Can you please advise what to do right now. Do you have on bugs.kde.org section for X? should i move it or close it and open new one?
Comment 3 Lubos Lunak 2008-05-31 22:38:17 UTC
We develop only KDE, not X :). I suggest reporting it to your distribution if you don't know where to report it specifically.
