Description Roland 2008-05-10 11:02:19 UTC
Version: 0.9.4-beta (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 4.2.1
OS: Linux

Using the slide show or advanced slide show in digikam it would be a great improvement to support left and right mouse clicks during the presentation to proceed one image forward or backward (in addition to the available keys).

Motivation for this usability improvement:
The remote controls of several beamers provide a generic mouse function which is available via a USB connection between beamer and desktop/laptop.

Roland,

I cannot confirm this bug. I have checks current developement version and Right/Left mouse click work fine here.

You have also a tool bar on the conners to naviguate around the slide. Just move the mouse to a corner.

Gilles,

You are right, my change request is indeed misleading. Sorry about that.

I'd like to specify my change wish more precisely:
During a presentation I usually do not want any controls to be displayed.
Is there any possibility to switch off the display of the controls in the corner when using mouse clicks?
As far as I see (with 0.9.4-beta3) the symbols are always activated after a mouse click even when the cursor has not been moved to one of the corners before.
When moving the cursor to the corner the activation of the tool bar is fine but the navigation should again disappear after some seconds.
