Description Milan Bouchet-Valat 2008-05-08 11:32:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The files keyboard.desktop and keyboard_layout.desktop should include a line OnlyShowIn=KDE; so that their menus don't appear in other environments than KDE. This is confusing in GNOME.

This bug looks like a duplicate of http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161784
Comment 2 Milan Bouchet-Valat 2008-05-11 22:28:55 UTC
Not exactly. Actually, you can see I reported both at the same time because this is the same problem applying to two different pieces of software: one in kxkb, one in khotkeys. But sure fixing both in one would make sense. ;-)

what if GNOME user wants to use kxkb to switch layouts? :)

You're joking? Sure, it may be useful when they surf with Konqueror...
Comment 5 Andriy Rysin 2008-06-25 14:28:14 UTC
Fixed in trunk so fix should appear in KDE 4.1

Great! What about fixing bug 161784 while you're at it? It's the same but with khotkeys.
