Version:           1.9.50 (using 4.00.72 (KDE 4.0.72 >= 20080430 "release 2.3", compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25-26-default

I don't know any reason to set this option on by default.
It looks ugly for my opinion :)
