Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-05-07 08:52:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

or in other words -- reply to author but ignore the return path (*).

Btw. this would be another option in reply, already there are pretty a lot of options. Maybe it would be good to drop some of them (rare use) and make one "reply to..." feature. When user chooses this one, a dialog would appear with all possible (and valid) addresses to pickup from:

Default: something@com
Sender: author@com
All: sb1@com, sb2@com
etc.

or to save KMail from just another dialog, show the composer with all fields filled up, but then the explanation of the adresses would be required -- for example, "To" field is filled but where it came from, is it return path, mailing list, sender?

(*) or maybe it is a bug report, because "reply to author" should work this way, i.e. by sending mail back to author (ignoring return path) and it does not

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
