Version: (using KDE 3.5.9) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Using Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron on a x86_64 dual core system. Previous KDE version (with Kubuntu 7.04) did not display this problem. When a checkbox or radio button is selected (for instance, when clicked), then it is not rendered. Once I click something else, the control is rendered correctly. By "not rendered", I mean it is replaced by blank space. The amount of blank space depends on the application. This behavior happens in ALL applications. Note: I also see this if I boot into KDE4 which is also installed on this system. SO the presence of the extra binaries may have something to do with it?
Can you please attach a screenshot?
Created attachment 24690 [details] CompizConfig - unrendered checkbox on Rotate Cube Note that the rotate cube item has been selected (actually, it was unchecked and I checked it, but it doesn't matter - if it has focus, it will not be rendered).
Created attachment 24691 [details] firefox page, ebay msgs - note that top check box (next to Flag) is unrendered The upper of the 3 checkboxes was selected, which means it is focused. The bug is that the checkbox is not rendered (it should show checked).
Both aren't KDE/Qt applications. Could you post screenshots about KDE/Qt applications? Thanks.
Okay, so I guess it's only gtk apps that have this problem. Sorry about that.
Ok, so this is INVALID. bug closed. Thanks Jeremy for the quick feedback :-)
