Hello,

if an app is selected via the mouse in the task bar and then the keyboard is used to operate this app the mouse is hovering over this apps taskbar represent and therefore plasma generates a preview window. This preview comes in the way of the 'real' app which is at hand. Apps which are selected by mouse and then opperated by keyboard are e.g. a browser or any kind of app running in a terminal emulation.

I think plasma must not generate a preview window for apps which do have the focus.

Tooltips (and hence previews) are disabled at the moment in trunk (4.1).  Needs looking at again when they return.

There are no more preview windows and they will probably be handled differently when they return
