Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-04-24 15:53:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Steps to reproduce:

a) forward mail with pictures
b) send later
c) go to outbox folder
d) select this mail
e) delete one of the images
f) notice information "attachment xxxxxx deleted" -- and such info is about to be sent to the receiver of the mail

Confirmed on KDE 4.2.2 (kubuntu) although different (worse) in that the attachment is said to have been deleted, a message is shown in the message window and in the attachment list in the header but the attachment is not actually removed. Sending the message sends the attachment - note that the deletion message does not appear to be sent.

Confirmed in trunk too.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
