Version:           0.9.4-beta3 (using 3.5.9, Debian Package 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-2+b1 (lenny/sid))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-1-686

switch to full screen ends up in X11 reset, and after restart digikam menu and status line are missing, this happens also in 0.93

Michael,

Sound like a very specific problem from your computer. I have never reproduce it on my computers. Also, there is nothing special in digiKam code to toggle to full screen mode. All is delegate to Qt API.

Please, check your X11 server configuration...

Hi Gilles

I am running Debian Lenny with nvidia and compiz-fusion without any issues.
I never had something before, Openoffice fullscreen function works perfect.
For me its not a big issue, I do not need this functionality (24", 
1920x1200)
I activated it by mistake, and now I removed the icon.
