Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux In the default configuration, the K-kickoff menu does not have a clickable area that includes the extreme lower-left corner. Since going to the menu is a very common action, and a corner is an easy place to navigate to, the menu should be able to be activated from the extreme lower-left corner. I often just kind of throw my mouse into that corner to get to it (as I imagine would be common), and it's a bit weird to have it not pick that up.
If this is trunk, it's a regression that came into play with the woc stuff. Don't worry, it's obvious to everyone and will not remain.
Err, in fact it's already been fixed.
The bottom left corner of the K-menu (the very corner of the screen) has stopped reacting to clicks again in svn compiled 2/7/09. (r922473)
It seems to depend on how tall the panel is. Once the panel reaches a certain height, the whole bottom edge of the screen becomes inactive. So the K-menu and the task bar are much more difficult to use. One way to work around the problem is to make the panel shorter, but I think the K-menu and task bar should extend all the way to the bottom edge and corner.
