10. KPilot exits signal 11 (SIGSEGV) -- kpilot daemon still running in kicker, but with red-slashed circle overlay

** Initial Backtrace:

This backtrace appears to be of no use.
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was seriously corrupted in the crash.

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".

** Trying again, but from Kdbg...

Steps 1-10 are unchanged

KPilot Wizard crashes while autodetecting PDA

I got the problem aswell with my Sony Clie NX73v on openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 3.5.10 and KPilot 3.5.10. I attched my kcrash backtrace.
Comment 6 Jason 'vanRijn' Kasper 2009-01-19 04:18:01 UTC
Yeah, sorry guys, the device detection code is really broken right now. For the time being, please enter your device information manually. This has been disabled in KDE 4.2. =:/

Thank you for the bug report!! Also, I'd really appreciate your help in testing out KPilot from the really-soon-to-be-released KDE 4.2!!! =:)
