Version: (using KDE 3.5.9) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I would like to request you to consider the inclusion of the Zenburn color scheme in Konsole's default set of color scheme. [...] I recently came across Zenburn http://slinky.imukuppi.org/zenburn/. Which is IMHO a very well thoughtout color scheme made for Vim, and that has been spreading to other applications. This is a Konsole scheme based on it: http://termos.vemod.net/zenburn-for-konsole This color scheme strikes me as: 1. a much better composed color scheme than most of the variations shipped by default by Konsole; 2. fairly different from the default color schemes, so that its inclusion in the konsole defaults would actually add something new to the color scheme collection. [...] I am neither the author of Zenburn, nor of its Konsole scheme. I am just a full time programmer using konsole quite often, and relieved to have found out about this color scheme.
Created attachment 24338 [details] 'Dark Pastels' color scheme for KDE 4 based on Zenburn I like it. Some of the colors do not work well for me though. - The intense green (which is used by 'ls' to represent executable files) is a beige color which is not easy to see against the foreground - The plain blue (which I use as a prompt color) is too dark against the background.
SVN commit 798584 by knight: New color scheme 'Dark Pastels'. This is a softer alternative to Black on White or Linux colors. It is a very slightly modified version of Zenburn, originally made for Vim by Jani Nurminen and later adapted for Konsole/KDE 3 by Christoffer Sawicki.
