Description karl sebastian liebich 2008-04-10 14:57:41 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-15-generic

The fonts in KDE4 are generally very strange - difficult to describe, but with KPDF the readability is much better than with OCULAR for instance. Fonts are so "soft" the letters merge together sometimes when font is too small.
In GTK apps - in my case firefox - fonts are so small I have difficulties to read. The Problem is also described by another user here: http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/148506/0/print/

He describes, that only two of his machines are affected.

Please tell me how I can provide more Informations to trace the problem.

thx a lot
karl
