Version: (using KDE 3.5.9) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux I try to add gps coordinates to a picture: in my german version it's via Bild->Geographische Zuordnung->Koordinaten bearbeiten. After that I get a map from google to choose the coordinates. If I accept them by clicking OK digikam crashes. Reproducable every time. The backtrace: Überprüfung der Systemkonfiguration beim Start deaktiviert. (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". Sound like a problem with libkexiv2. I remember an old similar problem. Please update libkexiv2 package and try again. Gilles Caulier
Is this bugreport still valid? Otherwise we can close it...
Seems to be that my comment from 2008-04-08 has gone away. Anyway, it was a problem in the kipi-plugins. An update solved it.
Not reproducible with digiKam 7.3.0 and Exiv2 0.27.4
