Description Milan Krivda 2008-03-29 11:57:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

KDE4 look awesome, but some parts arent so good. One of this parts is dolphin copy/move dialog. It look old and is too big. On the screenshots are my ideas how can be copy/move dialog redesigned with full functionality and nice modern design.

On default dialog is visible progress bar, in title bar % of copying and pause button. I think these are the most important an often used informations/functions. Default dialog can be expanded with maximize/minimize button. On expanded dialog are visible additional informations like file name, progress, speed, remaining time and functions.

Reported already (bug #160055).
Comment 3 Milan Krivda 2008-03-29 13:26:47 UTC
This is reported 2 times, because first time this was reported as copy/move dialog for dolphin and after then same was reported as progress dialog for kdelibs.
Comment 4 Milan Krivda 2008-03-29 13:31:21 UTC
Sorry. Dolphin report has been moved to kdelibs.
Comment 5 Pino Toscano 2008-03-29 13:35:06 UTC
Even if it were, the dialog is the same, so no need to report TWICE the same bug.
