Description Ryan 2008-03-27 21:12:12 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: MS Windows

I just installed KDE4 on my Windows2000. I loaded up Konqueror and browsed the Internet a little bit. I noticed that list boxes or text boxes have some rendering issues.

A list box will be a certain size and if there are too many items, it will overlay more text on the top of the list instead of not showing what isn't in the scroll view. When I scrolled the box, the view expanded and the text was then readable.

I am noticing now by filling out this form, that there are issues with the text boxes as well. They will not display the text correctly after it's been highlighted or the cursor has been moved with the arrow keys. This is also fixed by scrolling the text box until more text is entered or the cursor is moved again.

Have you tried it again recently? I think I have experienced that bug before. However, I am testing on KDE4.0.73 and definitely cannot reproduce that bug (been trying for 5 minutes).
I'm using Windows Server 2008 if it makes any difference.

Think this must be fixed.
