Description George Kiagiadakis 2008-03-27 15:58:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.2.3 (Debian 4.2.3-2)
OS: Linux

In the file associations module in system settings, there "defaults" and "restore" buttons are always disabled, so it is impossible to restore file associations to their defaults. The same bug exists in the file associations page in konqueror settings.

Confirmed, Defaults does not work. Not sure what Reset should do so I can't really say if that works or not.
Comment 2 George Kiagiadakis 2008-08-21 17:05:43 UTC
The reset button is now usable in 4.1.0. The defaults button, though, is always disabled. I guess it's not implemented...
Comment 3 FiNeX 2008-12-31 15:11:06 UTC
It should have been fixed on most of the kcm modules. Can you confirm it?
Comment 4 FiNeX 2009-02-01 13:31:50 UTC
I've checked almost all modules, and I've found only a couple of missing "default settings". I'll open a bug report directly against them.
