Version:           3.3.5 (using 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-8etch1 (4.0))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-6-686

When I close a kdevelop project, the windows etc get closed nicely. But the project's name remains in the window title bar. 

That can be confusing, hence demand to open the "Project" menu just to make sure the project's really closed.

You should upgrade your KDevelop, 3.3 is ancient and is completely unsupported.

Apart from that this has been fixed in recent versions.
