Description Chris Seufert 2008-03-20 06:43:39 UTC
Version: 4.0.2 (KDE 4.0.2) (using 4.0.2 (KDE 4.0.2), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.23-1-686-bigmem

Form elements are invisible, they need to be tabbed through or clicked in to appear, they are completely white, with no border before then.

Does it happen on all webpages?
Are you using the oxygen style?
Comment 2 Chris Seufert 2008-03-23 03:11:58 UTC
Yer, happens with all form elements, on all pages that ive tried, including this site. Also it happens on both my installs, with and without desktop effects enabled (Compositing), althou with compositing i get other strangeness too.

And memo boxes are the worst, even after they have had focus, they still dont draw a border. interestingly the same controls outside of khtml/konqueror seem to be fine.

And yer im using Oxygen.

Thanks for the explanation. As last test, could you try to change the style? Thanks!

Well switched on Cleanlooks, and resarted session, all the fields seem to show up perfectly.

Do you want to see some screenies of the problem?
