Version: (using KDE 4.0.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Hello! I would be really grateful, if you could code a function, where it is possible to configure where the kopete notification window should appear. Since version 0.50 the notification window of kopete places itself in the middle on the top of screen, unfortunately, it so discovers the adressbar and the symbol-bookmarks of Firefox. It's really a little bit annoying. In my opinion the old position of the notification window (bottom right corner, next to the clock) was really great. Therefore I hope, that one of the next kopete version offers a possibility to change the default position of the notification window. So long! :)

the notification is an issue with the new version. i want (like before) only ONE bubble for each user, when the chat window is CLOSED. Not every new message producing an notification window (with sometimes also only disappeares with a click), summary = only a bubble, if a contact wrote, that doesn't have already a chatwindow somewhere.

Bug 167446 is somehow related, but additionally says, that no message-notification should appear, if a chat-window with that contact is already open (in background).
The same bug in kubuntu 8.10 alpha, kopete 0.60.1, kde 4.1.1, notification popup window is in the top of the screen
I confirm this. Please fix at the earliest.
This should no longer be a problem in KDE 4.2. Most of the notification dialog code has been rewritten, and I can't reproduce it anymore. Passive notifications now always show up right next to the system tray.
Thank you! :)
when using kopete trunk in kde-3, the position is still at the top of the screen. (i really can't use kde4/qt4 because of my graphics card)
