Description copong 2008-03-12 11:11:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I've got one or two files in ~/Desktop, that show up in the desktop containment in plasma.

If I close those via the "X" button on their handles, they disappear. All fine.

Then I log off, and log back in. Presto! The icons are still there! I would imagine that if I close something it should remain closed between sessions :)

KDE 4.0.2, Kubuntu Hardy packages, fully updated as of today.

With 4.1 just around the corner, it's time to close off 4.0 bugs. ~/Desktop icons have been replaced by the folder view applet, so this bug is no longer relevant.
