Description Anne Wilson 2008-03-11 21:12:10 UTC
Version: 3.5.9 (using KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

One IMAP folder always gets two copies of every message. I have been using the menu option to Remove Duplicate Messages once daily to resolve this. Today, using newly installed 3.5.9, the three messages which had been duplicated now show as a single message each, with subject intact, but empty body.

The message appears to be undamaged in the folder - I can read it in kwrite
Comment 2 Anne Wilson 2008-03-13 09:44:10 UTC
I can now read those messages. At some point something (an index file) has regenerated and there is no longer a problem. It's still unclear how and why this happened, but unless this recurs I propose closing the bug.

I meant that to say '(an index file?)'
