Description Alexander Markov 2008-03-11 20:30:23 UTC
Version: 1.9.9 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

Kmail crashs when I see signed messages and OpenPGP module is running. It begins when I upgrade KMail for 1.9.9.

There is console output when KMail crased:

libkleopatra: WARNING: Running 'gpgconf --list-options scdaemon' failed. Operation not permitted, but try that command to see the real output
dirmngr[13979]: error opening `/home/komar/.gnupg/dirmngr_ldapservers.conf': No such file or directory
gpgconf: warning: can not open list file /home/komar/.gnupg/dirmngr_ldapservers.conf: No such file or directory
dirmngr[13989]: error opening `/home/komar/.gnupg/dirmngr_ldapservers.conf': No such file or directory
gpgconf: warning: can not open list file /home/komar/.gnupg/dirmngr_ldapservers.conf: No such file or directory
kmail: relocation error: /opt/kde/lib/libgpgme++.so.0: symbol gpgme_op_getauditlog, version GPGME_1.1 not defined in file libgpgme.so.11 with link time reference

And somesing else:

[komar@localhost ~]$ gpgconf --list-options scdaemon
gpgconf: Option gpgconf-scdaemon.conf, needed by backend SCDaemon, is not absolute
gpgconf: fatal error (exit status 1)

GnuPG version is 1.4.7.

>kmail: relocation error: /opt/kde/lib/libgpgme++.so.0: symbol gpgme_op_getauditlog, version GPGME_1.1 not defined in file libgpgme.so.11 with link time reference

This is a missing symbol, usually a sign that something with the packages is wrong. Report this bug to Slackware.
