Description Håkon Kippe 2008-02-29 23:09:52 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

The birthday for one of my contacts in the Contacts list is march 11. When I set this today, february 29th, I expected it to show up in Special Dates in Summary, but it didn't. Then I added it in the Calendar, and checked the "Birthday" category. Now it showed up in summary, sort of, it said the next special date was Saturday 11th march (11th is on a tuesday this year) in 2415090 days. I assume this bug is caused by the fact that today's date is the leap year day, february 29th.

Same here and on the PC of my parents. All birthdays shown on the summary page were millions of days in the future ;-) Today, on 1st march, everthing is correct again.

Seems that birthdays are not calculated correctly during leap years especially at the 29. february.

My system:
Gentoo Linux, KDE 3.5.9.

Regards,
Florian
