Version:           0.12.7 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs
OS:                Linux

If I'm initiating a conversation, it often results in that aMsn doesn't receive my messages. But if aMsn initiates the conversation there's no problem. One solution is to close the chatt window and start the conversation again.

Have you tried with any other combination of clients? Do you get the problem with amsn <-> *, or perhaps kopete <-> * , perhaps?

it works fine here with both kopete 0.12.7 and 0.50.80
