Description Jáchym Barvínek 2008-02-27 16:40:00 UTC
Version: plasma -v: Qt: 4.3.3 KDE: 4.0.1 (KDE 4.0.1) Plasma Workspace: 0.0 (using KDE 4.0.1)
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          gcc/g++
OS:                Linux

I have some icons which starts apllications with env. (namely kde3 apps, with setting kde3 home) - like this:
env KDEHOME=~/.kde akregator
When I click it, the application usually starts ok, with environment set properly. (sometimes it doesn't start, I can't say exactly when) But a sorry dialog box like "KDEInit could not launch '/usr/bin/env'." is always shown, even if it starts ok.

I've also seen this. It's more about krunner than plasma though, so changing the product.

this is something in kdelibs, but until we find out where, this is just as fine a place to house the BR as any .. but if anyone starts working on it, prepare to start looking into kdelibs code paths =)
