I have installed the latest unstable rpms from opensuse.org. I tried to drag and drop the "showdesktop" widget to the main panel but it crashed plasma.

this component is in playground/, but it works just fine. looks like a binary compat issue in the suse rpms.

I think the bug is not solved. I have the same problem on version 4.0.80 with ubuntu packages

Hi Klaus,

could you please attach a backtrace then? since while it may also crash it's clearly another reason cause the backtrace from comment #1 crashes at code that just doesn't exist any longer ;) Thanks in advance.
