Following instructions from techbase. -right click desktop, lock widgets -click on start menu, search fo r kbabel -right click icon, add to panel the icon gets added to the panel, underneath the leftmost existing icon. -right click desktop, unlock widgets the icon moves to the left, where it's expected to be, if it were allowed to be added.
I think this bug is fixed? When the desktop is locked I cannot see the add to panel option.
right, tested on the latest build, the option's not there anymore
