Description Aurelien Bompard 2008-02-10 10:26:18 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 entreprise 2007-12-04 744707 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2
OS: Linux

This bug happens when threaded view is chosen and when the user choses anything but "unfold the threads only when they contain new messages". I've traced this to the "nestingPolicy" option in kmailrc. When nestingPolicy is anything but 3, it is not possible to mark a message as new, unread, important etc. anymore. Choosing any of these actions in the right-mouse click menu stays without effect.

This is with kmail 1.9.6 entreprise branch of 2007-12-04 (rev 744707) as published by Fedora.
