Description Yukiko Bando 2008-02-09 07:47:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

In ideographic writing, namely Japanese and Chinese, lots of (or probably most of) common words are written in one or two kanji characters. With the minimum number of letters to filter pages fixed to 3, there is currently no way to find words such as 花 (flower), 鳥 (bird), 風 (wind), 月 (moon/month) etc. etc. It would be nice if the number of letters can be configurable in a future release.

Well, the limit was put to avoid an accidental keystroke in the quick search field could start the search (that can take some time in big documents).
